Online poker has become globally acclaimed as of late, with televised championships and celebrity poker game events. Its popularity, though, arcs back quite a bit further than its television scores. Over the years several variations on the earliest poker game have been developed, including a handful of games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely related to blackjack than old guard poker, in that the players bet against the house rather than the other players. The succeeding hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is little concealment or different kinds of deceptiveness. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up before the croupier announcing "No more wagers." At that instance, both you and the bank and of course all of the different gamblers receive five cards each. After you have looked at your hand and the bank’s 1st card, you need to either make a call bet or bow out. The call wager’s value is on same level to your beginning ante, indicating that the risks will have doubled. Abandoning means that your bet goes instantaneously to the bank. After the wager is the showdown. If the bank doesn’t have ace/king or better, your bet is given back, with a figure on par with the ante. If the house does have ace/king or greater, you win if your hand is greater than the bank’s hand. The casino pays money even with your wager and fixed expectations on your call wager. These odds are:

• Even for a pair or high card
• two to one for two pairs
• three to one for 3 of a kind
• four to one for a straight
• five to one for a flush
• 7-1 for a full house
• twenty to one for a four of a kind
• 50-1 for a straight flush
• 100-1 for a royal flush
