Pai Gow Poker is a cutting-edge game with ancient origins. Built on the old Chinese domino game and the current American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the eastern with the west in a great game for beginner level gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player versus the croupier, not like nearly all other poker games that players wager against other players. By betting against the dealer, starting players do not need to be concerned about other, more knowledgeable people winning their $$$$.
A further Pai Gow edge is the relatively leisurely game pace, beginners will be able to take their time and strategize while not needing to make quick decisions.
It is also much simpler to enjoy for a long time with basically a small bit of cash seeing as, to not win, each of your hands must be lower than each of the houses hands.
Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the regular 52-card common deck and one joker. The player is dealt 7 cards faces showing and the house gets seven cards faces hidden.
One five card hand and one two card hand have to be made from the 7 cards dealt, the 5 card hand has to be higher than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be better than the houses.
