Internet poker has become globally famous lately, with televised championships and celebrity poker game shows. The games universal appeal, though, stretches back in fact a bit farther than its television ratings. Over the years numerous variations on the first poker game have been developed, including some games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these particular games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely resembling 21 than long-standing poker, in that the gamblers wager against the casino instead of each other. The succeeding hands, are the established poker hands. There is little bluffing or different types of deceptiveness. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up just before the croupier announcing "No more bets." At that instance, both you and the bank and of course all of the different players attain 5 cards each. Once you have looked at your hand and the casino’s 1st card, you need to in turn make a call wager or give up. The call bet’s amount is akin to your original bet, indicating that the stakes will have increased two fold. Surrendering means that your bet goes directly to the house. After the wager is the conclusion. If the house does not have ace/king or better, your wager is returned, plus a figure in accordance with the ante. If the bank has a hand with ace/king or better, you win if your hand defeats the dealer’s hand. The casino pony’s up money even with your wager and fixed odds on your call bet. These expectations are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • two to one for 2 pairs
  • 3-1 for three of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • 20-1 for a 4 of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
