Double-hand Poker is a modern game with old origins. Based on the ancient Chinese domino game and the modern American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the east with the west in a wonderful game for beginner level players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler vs. the casino, unlike nearly all other poker games that players wager against other players. By betting against the dealer, new players don’t need to be concerned about other, more knowledgeable individuals winning their moolla.

An additional Pai Gow benefit is the fairly leisurely game play, beginners will be able to take their time and plan without needing to make hasty decisions.

It is also simpler to participate in for a long time with just a small amount of money after all, to not win, both of your hands must be under both of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the regular 52-card common deck and one joker. The gambler is assigned 7 cards faces showing and the house receives seven cards face down.

One 5 card hand and one two card hand have to be put together from the 7 cards dealt, the 5 card hand must be higher than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be larger than the houses.
